Both Bank Examiner I and Loan
Examiner I positions require at
least one year of specific
financial institution or
regulatory agency experience. If
you meet all of the
qualifications and experience
requirements for either

State Professional Trainee
You can still become an examiner
if you do not meet the
experience requirement. Apply
for the position of State
Professional Trainee if you meet
all the qualifications of the
Bank Examiner I or Loan Review
Examiner I position EXCEPT the
experience requirement. This
position allows you to obtain
the required one year of
on-the-job training prior to
taking the Bank Examiner I or
Loan Examiner I written test.
The starting annual salary of
the State Professional Trainee
(Bank Examiner or Loan Examiner)
is $34,063.20.
Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year
college or university with a
degree in Accounting, Finance,
Economics, Business
Administration, or a related
field.
Limited Tenure: This is a
temporary appointment with a
maximum tenure of two years.
